Plumpton College, the UK’s centre of excellence for wine education, is looking to recruit a dynamic, enterprising individual to market and sell its wines.
The new brand manager will be required to improve product sales, establishing the college’s wines as a market leader and an exemplar of good practice. Professional experience in wine business or production is a bonus, but the successful applicant will also be supported by the college and will receive tuition in relevant modules delivered by Plumpton’s wine division.
The successful candidate will join a team of new personnel at the college including wine sales operative, Gabriel Hall, vineyard apprentice, Lucy Walker, wine business lecturer, Lindsay Holasm, MSc viticulture and oenology programme manager, Greg Dunn, and project manager Corentin Cortiula who has joined Plumpton’s wine division to research climate variation and its impact on grapevine performance.
