The UK’s favourite wine experts are taking the UK’s biggest wine tastings into a new era as Three Wine Men re-launches as WineAlive.
Established in May 2011, Oz Clarke, Tim Atkin MW and Olly Smith have made stellar work of hosting Britain’s most popular consumer wine tastings. 14 years on, their trio has expanded to welcome more dedicated wine friends into the fold.
With a new name, a brand-new website and more engaging online content and activities, WineAlive is bringing wine to life on multiple platforms.
While the original trio remain at the forefront of the company and will be headlining various events throughout the year, 2025 sees Oz, Tim and Olly welcome their expert mates on board. Luma Monteiro, Tom Surgey and Susy Atkins share the same infectious passion and the same simple mission as the group’s founders: to demystify wine and share sensational bottles at the most inviting of events.
“WineAlive is a thrilling new way for our live tasting events to evolve,” commented Olly Smith. “What Oz, Tim and I began more than a decade ago is building into an even more vibrant, spectacular and entertaining forum for anyone and everyone to come and feel the joy of tasting wine together. Join us!”
Having most recently taken their wine show to Bristol, future WineAlive event highlights are already planned for Manchester in October and London in November.

Monthly online tastings will reach people across the UK in the comfort of their own homes. Next month sees an online English Wine tasting with Oz Clarke for English Wine Week, with more themes being added to the 2025 calendar imminently. WineAlive will also deliver regular InstaLives and a wide variety of engaging digital content presented by its team of experts as part of its increased digital content creation plan. They are launching a YouTube channel to build up a library of video content, giving the wine-curious a trusted source of entertaining wine and drinks information to dip in and out of.
“I’m really happy to be part of the new WineAlive,” commented Luma Monteiro. “My hope is that people can discover new regions, new grapes, and feel excited – not intimidated – by exploring beyond their usual choices. WineAlive is all about giving people the confidence to try something different and to enjoy the journey.”
Since 2011, Three Wine Men has enjoyed a loyal following of subscribers that continues to grow organically – these consumers attend events, open e-newsletters and subscribe to social media channels for trusted engaging content from the presenters they know from different media platforms. In 2025 and beyond, WineAlive is inviting this audience to continue to #sipsplendidly while enjoying a fresh new vintage of informative wine fun.
