Stopham Estate, the award-winning Sussex vineyard and winery celebrated for its aromatic white wines, has announced the official release of its highly anticipated 2025 Pinot Noir.
This marks an exciting milestone for the estate as it expands its boutique portfolio into premium English still red wines and completes the Pinot range of Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Noir.
Crafted by head winemaker Simon Woodhead, the new Pinot Noir reflects the unique microclimate and sandy soils of Stopham vineyard, located in the South Downs National Park.
The wine delivers vibrant red cherry aromas, subtle spice, and a velvety finish, showcasing the incredible potential of still red winemaking in the UK.
“We are extremely proud to introduce this Pinot Noir to our lineup,” said Simon Woodhead, Founder and Winemaker at Stopham Estate. “While Sussex is famous for sparkling and white varieties, our unique terroir and our warm summer in 2025 has allowed us to craft a still red wine with exceptional elegance, structure, and character. It is a true reflection of our passion for sustainability and precision in viticulture.”
